People always ask me:
“What do you do in the winter?”
And the truth is that, in the absence of snow, sometimes it’s hard to put together a full day of winter work for a landscape crew, especially in early January. This is less often the case, however, on our new contract at Washington Dulles International Airport where there is always work to do. We have employees keeping the grounds clean at that site 365 days a year, and on such a huge property you can bet that a landscape issue will arise somewhere on any given day.

Next week, we’ll be cutting back grasses and other plants around the lake. And who knows, we may even get to do some snow removal work before the winter is over!
