Euonymous scale

We’ve seen an increase in harmful insect activity in recent weeks, especially on the properties we service with sprinkler systems.

Unfortunately, the water we need to keep the grass green also creates an environment that promotes activity among insects that attack plants.

Right now, we’re battling various forms of scale, aphids, lace bugs and spider mites.  It always pays to scout for plant insect problems during the summer, but if you’re using a sprinkler system you should be particularly vigilant.
