Warning: The videos posted on this page show professional arborists doing dangerous work. The risk is enhanced by the fact that they’re doing it a few feet from heavy traffic travelling at speeds of 55 mph and greater.
The real warning though is that the videos really aren’t that exciting. That’s because when you’re doing work like this you want it to be boring!
When Dulles Toll Road management called and said they needed some emergency tree work done over the weekend, we knew it would be no easy to task. But through a series of calls to our friends at Bartlett Tree Experts and the traffic safety division of Commonwealth Excavating, we put together the right team and got the work done. These guys made it look easy.
The hazardous trees were removed, and everyone went home safe. A huge thank you is in order to everyone involved, including the members of the Blake Landscapes staff–Sergio Diaz and Efrain Molina–who helped coordinate this tricky project.
